Ah, my daughter is one of the ones caught up in this at Newy! It wasn’t just the change of accreditation in her second year that was appalling but also the way the students were left to solve this on their own without any advice from the faculty. She had to do a double degree to become certified.

I’ve also struggled to find the vibrant local and Australian content that I’d built up in Twitter. It was the first place I went to for local news or to find out what was happening in my community. ABC Newcastle feed, local community all missing with most of my feed filled with American politics.

To be honest, I’m struggling! It’s been a traumatic month that didn’t match my hopes, but husband is slowly improving so I can’t complain. Vegemite toast is a modern marvel- enjoy!
