Bocchi the Rock (2022)

I got a modern K-On vibe from this one! A fun watch, and it's cool to see Hitori's journey from super cut-off socially anxious guitarist to... slightly less cut-off socially anxious guitarist with a rock solid friend group. Pretty good music too~

Apocalypse Hotel (2025)

Absolutely amazing show that explores finding meaning in a post-apocalyptic life in the guise of a silly comedy about running a hotel. The show regularly swings between deep moments and comedic beats (with some action here and there), and was a fun ride to the end.

Inuyashiki (2017)

I went into this blind and finished it in one sitting. It's a fascinating look at how the same circumstances lead to vastly different conclusions based on one's outlook on life. Funny, shocking, terrifying, hopeful... a pretty good time.

Tokyo Godfathers (2003)

My first Satoshi Kon movie, and it was a fun time! I watched the most recent dub, and it was a fantastic performance. Comedy was funny, characters were deep and developed, loved the themes, and how real and of its time it felt. So many Christmas miracles...
