Yeah, that's way too heavy to ride anywhere that isn't flat or downhill. Mine disconnected once and I thought it died. We were riding in a local parade that thankfully was flat. Tried to ride it home and it was A DISASTER.

Does it at least turn off when you take the battery off/out? Mine does but I can also turn it off if I chain it up with the battery locked on. Though my battery has an on/off switch as well so that might be an option on yours?

I can't understand how anybody could watch that game and *still* not understand why the offense got booed.

My adopted "hometown" team, the Broncos, are booed regularly. At one particularly awful home game the announcers were stunned that so many people (correctly) left *before overtime*

He also generally talks too much - right up to the snap usually.

I'm in KCMO with in-laws and yesterday was rough. Today is frankly what I (Eagles fan) expected. Just trying not to yell obscenities.

Gorgeous! I love the ice plants. I've only seen the purplish-pink ones.

Solidarity. I woke up with one and hope to have it tamed by the time all the people get here. At least I'm not hosting and don't have to cook.

It should absolutely end Lizza's career in journalism/commentary.*

* it will not

Beautiful! Hopefully not too loud and scary.

Thanks for posting that. I had no idea the technique changed so drastically since I learned to read. It's disturbing and sad to reduce reading to "getting the gist" instead of leaning words. How do they learn to write?

Thank you Roger. This was excellent.

The reality of the information environment should be the threshold issue for Dems. Arguing about policy or issues or relatability is beside the point if you'll never reach anyone beyond the people already invested in politics/what is actually happening.

He is much better at hunting than camping. What a love bug. 😍

It's so sad and I'm so sorry CharlieBrown is gone. It's the price of loving each other so much - even when it's only on teh internets.

We'll be here when you're ready for silliness again. 😘

He wants people to believe that wealthy people *get subsidized premiums* through the ACA. Many people have to buy insurance at full price on the exchanges b/c they're self-employed or retired before age 67.
November 14, 2025 at 3:34 PM
Wealthy people don't get subsidies but absolutely do sign up and pay for insurance plans offered on the ACA. Anyone who retires before 67 still needs insurance even if they have a big nest egg built up.

My husband sometimes comments under my feminine name on The Athletic. He backs everything up with stats and meticulous research and still gets dismissive gendered replies.

It's free actually. Subscription is optional.

I thought SNAP cuts and ruined Thanksgiving travel would've broken through but that's moot now.

I guess we're banking on attack ads next October saying Republicans voted against extending ACA subsidies. Surely a slam-dunk strategy. /s
