Icicles hang from the eaves of a house at the top of the frame. Beyond, the ground is covered with several inches of snow and chunks of snow and ice cling to the trees. In the distance are snow-covered mountains with abundant white clouds moving over the tops. A few patches of blue sky are also visible. Eastern base of the Sierra Nevada mountains near Lake Tahoe/Carson City, Nevada.
