I met Iron Eyes a few times. Yes he wasn't an American Indian. But he lived as one. He married a native, adopted two native orphans and raised them in their tribal culture. He learned the language and actually "represented" native political interests for decades without a hint of scandal.

Anyone who has been paying attention and is honest with themselves can only conclude that the extant situation in those red states is because "those are the babies and mothers we don't want here." It is quite obvious.

Maybe "confronted" was not the right word. The point being that when face to face, people are much less likely to be hateful and bold. Trolling is easy at a distance. Less so in person.
