Sixty something woman navigating my mother’s journey from this world to the next. Hopeful, funny, tired, sad, happy, lost, angry, thankful … few emotions have avoided this adventure.
Aw,shucks … thank you ☺️

Fortunately, I believe that most of the derision and disdain is directed toward the current leaders more than it is at the American people. Just as my own rejection of the German tyranny perpetrated by Hitler is in no way an indication of how I feel toward the strong and resilient German people.

Thank you. Here in California, I’m beginning another day of helping my mother move on with the most peace and comfort and love I can muster to surround her. The reminder that I am not alone was needed. Blessings 🌸

I was so blessed that my Mama remembered me for most of the time she’s been on my home and I’ve been caring for her. This week she started calling me Mother and asking me to make it better. I may not recover.

When my sister died in Pennsylvania, the local government's Probate Court automatically notified the IRS, Soc Sec, and the whole state banking system, after receiving notification of death from the hospice. Different states may have a slightly different system, but it's all formalized.
