Discovered Comic Art Magazine because Seth’s Forty Cartoon Books of Interest was a pack in with #8. They were both well worth a read and I’ll definitely be on the hunt for the rest of the issues.

I was drawn to this anthology by the Seth cover and was thrilled to discover that it was full of fantastic comics both old and (at the time) new. The section on the work of Charles Schultz was my favorite.

R Crumb’s A Short History of America is one of my favorite things he’s ever done.

I picked this up because I really enjoyed Oshikiri’s High Score Girl. Sayuri is fairly traditional J-horror in the first half, but then turns the tropes on their head in the second half in a very cool way. Well worth a read for horror fans.

Managed to pick up a 1955 first edition of this book for $7 from eBay. This is a side quest in my Seth odyssey that I learned about from his Forty Cartoon Books of Interest.

I really enjoyed the look at Dominion City and I very much look forward to the eventual full book about it.
