RFK Jr. is a disgrace. "They say he's wrong" because he is wrong. He's a fearmongering, ableist liar. End of. I 100% agree with you, Emma.

You'll never shine if you don't egg
Hey now you're an egg yolk
Get your omelet on, go scramble
Hey now, you're a fried egg
Get the pan on, get fried
All that hard boils is egg
Only soft boiled boils the egg

Well the eggs start egging
And they don't stop egging
Fend to the eggs and I hit the egg egging
Didn't make sense not to live for eggs
Your egg gets smart but your cold gets dumb
So much to egg, so much to egg
So what's wrong with taking the back egg
You'll never know if you don't egg

*me reading about gay history so I can point out historical inaccuracies when Gods and Graces comes out because I don't have a life*

Yup, we are quite a ludicrous species.

Violence is never the answer. Violence is a question and the answer is yes.

I love that line. "No one asks whether the sky is a boy or girl. The sky is just sky...and so am I" Brilliant

Happy b-day Bonnie!

I also forgot to mention that another molly hunter was 18-year-old Edward "Ned" Courtney, a member of the ultra-religious "Society for the Reformation of Manners" (which Thomas Newton was also a member of) that orchestrated the raid.
July 12, 2024 at 7:30 AM
Or how about this:

Thomas Newton (ugh): Why are you gay?
Mark Partridge: Who says I'm gay?
Thomas Newton: You are gay

As sad as this story is, I just had this idea: If people in molly houses talked like instagram comment sections:

Gabriel Lawrence: Mark is sick as fuck right now...
Mark Partridge: Sick of this bull crap!
GL: You like guys though...
MP: Uh...no...totally not....

I still love historical fantasies lol. I'm able to put my nerdiness aside for a moment

Overall, sad all around. Sorry for replying in multiple replies, it's just that this thing has a character limit lol

Finally, the wikipedia page for Margaret Clap is here: en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Margare...

2 notable informants (people who snitched on gay people) were Thomas Newton, a member of a religious group, and Mark Partridge, a gay man who had been outed and snitched on other gay men to avoid execution.

The Trial of Margaret Clap is here: rictornorton.co.uk/eighteen/cla... (She was sentenced to 2 years in prison, a fine, and to be stood in the pillory. Rictor Norton notes she likely died on the pillory).

That's good :) It's just a question that's on my mind lately, having read about Margaret Clap's molly house and its downfall.

Here's various Rictor Norton pages on it:

Impatiently waiting for the first episode of God's and Graces to come out on Tapas lol (Also, please inform me of the correct term to describe segments of a comic on Tapas, I used "episode" for lack of a better word lol)

Haha yeah. He'd probably be the type of guy to not even use an umbrella or a raincoat because it's 'inconvenient' when really he just wants to wear black clothes lol. It's no longer raining right now but it's still freaking cold

Here in Sydney it's raining like hell :')

I love that drawing of a pissed-off Cortland haha. Clearly shouldn't go within 10 metres of him right now

I've been reading about gay history in England (spoiler alert, it's sad) so i can't wait for Gods and Graces! (I just hope it doesn't end badly, but knowing British gay history, it might...)
