You’re missing the point

I don’t want to do this Ben, not many people do. I want it in my feed where everything else is.

I hope you and the team will reconsider this. I think there a ton of people who’d appreciate cross posting. Just want more svelte in the timeline. That’s all 😒

I think most people in the community who use X want the svelte team on X. It’s really not a big ask. Just automate the posting. You never have to visit the site

I hope @rich-harris.dev @benmccann.com, other decision makers understand this frustration. I love what you guys do and want to see more🤝

I appreciate everyone’s replies. I understand the sentiment and that information and news can generally be found elsewhere.

But I think we’re missing the point. Svelte and Sveltekit and the community are awesome and unfortunately not posting on X is limiting the community.

Further more, why limit Svelte’s exposure. More users means more community which inevitably leads to more tooling and framework support, more people pushing the web forward.

I’ve been following svelte since the launch of svelte 3. (Got the little “OP” badge of discord). It’s not hard to cross post.

“Blue sky is a better experience” is an opinion that should not restrict the availability of information of OSS.

With all due respect, and I sincerely mean that. No one cares about politics or your preference of social media.

People care about the amazing technology you guys are building. I’m a svelte die hard. And it sucks you guys have stopped providing updates to thousands of people. X is big it matters.
