2/ And actions likes this signal that anyone who disagrees with the ballot box can simply cry wolf, undermining our votes. This also sows doubt into the people’s trust in the system, breeding skepticism and distrust in the institution of voting.

I agree to an extent. However, in this case, the power of the people, voters, is being undermined by the losing party. The people have voted and the losing constituent didn’t agree with the population of the state & is now strong arming valid votes post election to change the outcome in their favor.
