America must maintain its power in Europe. Trump letting Putin conquer Ukraine is short-sighted. Sacrificing Ukraine puts the 3 Baltic states next on Putin's agenda. Just on costs, it's cheaper for the US to defend Ukraine now than protect all of Eastern Europe and the Baltics in 3 years.

Trump has turned Congressional Repubs solely into comms yes-men. Even previous true conservative Mike Lee no longer defends the 1st Amendment's protection of free speech, which he staked his early career on.
