Adding screentone is a mood. But these look great! It's amazing how expressive everything is, even the shape of the smoke.

Going straight into colour (and not just black and white) is way more fun for me, I don't know why I ever did anything else. I tried practising more of a facial expression with the smile, but I still have a long way to go with those!

Totally yeah! It's like a switch flips at some point and it appears :) It's actually one of my favourite feelings.

For once the original file size is actually smaller than the timelapse? Anyway, I think working straight from colour without greyscale works much better for me.

Process was straight into colour from sketch rather than working and reworking from greyscale like I normally do. A lot more fun :)
