So, after weeks of trying to get this to where I want it, I think I'll call it with this piece. This is a scene I like to redraw every couple of years to see my growth as an artist. And while I'm still nowhere close to where I want to be, I am proud of how far I've come.

Nikki and I made a trip to Albany and a game shop we stopped in had these two figures that the shop owner was trying to sell off to
make room in their storage area. Was a bit of an impulse buy, but I was too excited not to bring them home with us!

I borrowed a bit from Kentaro Miura for Squall’s pose. Granted Squall’s Revolver isn’t quite as big as the Dragonslayer so it doesn’t quite serve the same purpose as in the panel haha

So, after working on and off with it for the past couple of weeks I decided to scrap this ff8 fanart for now. I liked how Squall and Seifer looked and I liked the coloring, but the composition just felt so flat to me :/
