Artists are already discussing pulling titles bc firing Rob, who was running the place, is a clear sign that Emily Singer/Julia Curl just want to use the collections to collect $$$ after a series of their own financial mismanagements that have left FMC in money trouble

*Anyone* could go to the FMC office and see titles for $50/hr (and you could split costs), that's not possible anymore. Programming screenings, same. I'm already hearing about people being unable to contact them about upcoming programs

Since they have only 2 part-timers left, plan is to use the collections as something to fundraise off of despite saying on their website the goal is to expand their community. Firing the person who was running the place daily is a sign that they dgaf about films/community

The firing of Rob Schneider from FMC is absolutely catastrophic for the largest/oldest experimental film distributor in the world. It is an act of desperation by a Board of Directors who has srsly mismanaged $$$ and is looking to gut the place
