As the year comes to a close, it’s a good time to pause and recognise what we’ve lived, learned, and carried with us along the way. Before we turn toward 2026, let’s spend some time with what’s already here; the ways we showed up for ourselves and others. That deserves to be held and appreciated 💜

Recently we’ve been exploring trust with our Kurdish youth group and having conversations about the meaning of friendship.
We explored the question “What does friendship mean to you?”

They spoke about how their friends support them and the ways they try to be there for others. Friendship matters 💜

Grief may feel heavier during the holidays. Finding ways to be with loss that feel safe can help.

#GriefAwarenessWeek reminds us what it means to live with loss. Can we be gentle and understanding, to ourselves and those around us? May we each feel held as we hold what has touched our lives 💜

As winter settles in, the change in light can shift how we feel, causing low mood or lack of motivation. Gentle exercise and staying connected with others can lift our spirits and our days.

Looking for ways to brighten your spirit this winter? Visit the link in our bio to see how we can help 💜

As the days grow shorter and darker, it’s normal to feel more tired or low.

Notice how you’re feeling, reach out if you need support, and take moments to care for yourself. Small acts of care can bring light during this time of year. 💜

Being aware of what’s within us, our thoughts and emotions, helps us to care for ourselves in a more grounded way.

Taking time to notice how we feel, and what we need, is an act of self compassion that can be practiced daily💜

Wishing everyone a happy Halloween.
Long before the sweets and costumes, it was All Hallows’ Eve, a night to remember those who came before us.

In the soft light of carved pumpkins, the spirit of remembrance still lingers, reminding us that love endures even after loss. 🧡🎃

Accompanying people with cancer, we explore what’s still possible after diagnosis and during recovery. Finding new ways of moving, acknowledging we still have choices. There’s always a shared sense of strength and hope.

We’re always discovering ways to celebrate what continues to live in us. 💛

As the leaves fall in different shades of orange, yellow and red, try to take some time out in nature to appreciate the beauty of the season. It’s good for your mental and physical health, and might even make your day 🧡🍁🍂

Last week, our Kurdish Community Youth Group shared experiences of life in the UK.

Sharing about what feels familiar or different, how culture and language shape everyday life and their responses to discrimination. CA is grateful to provide a space where they can explore new ideas and perspectives.

As the days grow shorter and the light fades earlier, it can take more care to look after our mental health.

It’s okay to slow down, to rest, and to reach out when things feel heavy. Small moments of kindness towards yourself and others can make the transition easier 💜

Traditionally, harvest is a time to gather what the earth has provided, store up for the months ahead, and give thanks for what has grown.

In our lives, it’s a time to reflect. What have we grown this year? What are we ready to carry forward? And what might we let rest as the seasons shift?🌾
