That’s as much as I can do until the chicken has defrosted enough to dice. I actually prefer to cut chicken breast when it’s partly frozen, easier with the chop knife, and not so slimy.

Can’t get back to sleep, may as well start prepping the curry. Making a spiced up korma I think. I seem to go through periods of 3am cookery. Oh well, I’ll have lunch tomorrow.

Slept from 7 till 11pm. Woke up with a guts ache.

Made decaf and took 9pm meds. Tidied kitchen.

Changed the bedding that I was going to do later. Gotti loved this black Egyptian cotton set. She would immediately sleep on the sheet, furring it up. I think because it’s so silky smooth. 😸😊 ❤️

They are knocking down the care home at the end of my rd, about 250m away. For the last 2 weeks it’s been crash bang wallop! Today it’s been solid jackhammers (the giant type attached to diggers, I think).

It’s bloody irritating here, christ knows what it’s like in the flats directly opposite.

I live in hope that MSFT stops trying to sell me stuff when they see I’ve no intention of updating my PC to Win11, will never use 365 or OneDrive or any of their crap. The only reason I’m keeping Windows 10 on here is because this BIOS refuses point blank to allow me to install Linux.

“Network Unstable, Try again later”, when it’s clearly not.

“Sign in to continue using One Drive”, but I don’t want to, I never have, sod off OneDrive.

“Activation code invalid”, I’ve just typed it directly from your email.

Going back to Agatha Christie, “Postern of Fate”. I seem to remember enjoying the book.

I’d like to listen to the Georgette Heyer mysteries. They were good. I didn’t like her historical romances, all those heaving bosoms, and miles of fabrics.

The “you teach people how to treat you” concept is so not in my wheelhouse as I was taught that if you treat folks with respect, you’ll get that respect back, yet life has shown me that’s so not the case.

Was gaslit at an early age, before we started using the word gaslight in common vernacular. 🤔
