Senior Researcher Ján Pich has been awarded an ERC Consolidator Grant for ProCom, a project exploring the limits of efficient computation and the complexity of mathematical proof. One of just five Oxford recipients in this highly competitive round.

An Oxford team won gold at the Northwestern European Regional Programming Contest (NWERC), placing 2nd out of 141 teams by solving 11 of 12 problems. They now qualify for the 2026 ICPC World Finals and ICPC Europe Championship in Poland. www.cs.ox.ac.uk/news/2500-fu...
