Mclaren had to live in the uk to compete in f1 so the team was based in the uk. In Nz Mclaren is considered a New Zealand team

The race was stopped due to weather with the leading car crashing out just before the red flag came out. because the rules dictate that the race result be declared from the last full lap the crashed car was declared the winner. the car in question was Japanese and driven by a new Zealander...

Racing history is my thing I actually know the 1992 f1 season better than any other from watching the video tape as a kid and the 1992 bathurst race was so infamous that people were still talking about it a lot in the 00s
