COVID conscious community organizing ideas. accessible community organizing for covid cautious, disabled, homebound, and immunocompromised community. Accessible Organizing Give to mutual aid or boost mutual aid on social media. Deliver food or water to a community fridge or start a community fridge of your own in your area. Organize or join an existing letter writing campaign for politically imprisoned people & boost their stories, financial needs on social media. Grow a food garden, if you have the space of course. Check out local community fridges in your area to see if you can donate the food. Alternatively, give to your neighbors in need. Reach out to food banks, churches, foodnotbombs to see what they need. Accessible Organizing Create a 'Mask Bloc' where you fundraise funds for mask distribution. (obviously you can fund this yourself if you have the means). Make large quantities of food if you have a kitchen, for distribution through churches, local food kitchens, community fridges. Look in your area for virtual narcan training for overdoses and administration. Join a 'Still Coviding' group and ask how you can help remotely. Check in with your favorite community orgs to see if they need help with bookkeeping, data entry, or clerical work. Accessible Organizing Transcribe Records through Virginia Untold, which provides digital access to records that document some of the lived experiences of enslaved and free Black people in the Library of Virginia's collections. You can do this from anywhere as long as you have a phone or computer. Mutual Aid groups often use spreadsheets for tracking info, reach out and see if they need help maintaining them or organizing their data. Protests or Strikes in your area? Drop off food, masks, or water for the protesters/striking workers. Be sure to check out their strike fund too. They might have more needs.

i got diagnosed with a tumor/nodule on my adrenal gland, fibroids that have expanded my uterus, enlarged liver and spleen, and need an upper endoscopy for possible ulcers or stomach cancer. I'm so tired. 😭 and none of the doctors mandate masks.
