On the one hand I know that three shelves of Sarah J. Maas at this Target means she has a lot of fans who are probably passionate about her.

Okay, that’s a good counter example from early on. But let’s take a strip from a few years into the run, 1985, and compare it to a strip from 2025. Once the style was fully established, the changes in artwork over the last 40+ years are miniscule.
