This article also isn't a warning telling people they must update now, to avoid some impending threat. It's just information on an up and coming os update, which I don't bother reading, because I know my phone will update when it drops anyway.

Why would I not be? When an os is updated, it's usually not for nefarious reasons!

Samsung doesn't really give you a choice if you have auto updates turned on.

That includes my BlueSky app.

All the stuff that I do on my phone that I want to make sure no prying eyes are looking at, I do within Samsung's Secure Folder app, which is essentially an encrypted sandbox OS, that operates separately from the phone's OS, and when I'm not using it, I shut it down, closing it off from the internet

I haven't seen any since I switched from BlackBerry. Then again, my phone auto updates, so I really don't worry about security issues.

Also, my Samsung auto updates, so there's no need for news articles to tell me to update my phone.

My BlackBerry's never did, and I know BlackBerry worked closely with Samsung before they stopped producing phones, to secure their version of Android. That's why Samsung Galaxy is the only mobile device I will consider using.

I'm just glad that I have no reason, zippo, ziltch, Nada reason to visit the Divided States of America, and even if I did, I'd find a reason not to!

Funny. I never get these, "Warning issued for Samsung Galaxy owners! Update now!" Only seems to be for IPhones. I wonder why? 🤔
