Every single time great powers go misty-eyed & mythical about 'their' spaces, territories, homelands, spheres, they should be called out by descriptions of the actual existing materialities of these fragments of an interdependent and turbulent planetary system.

The founder of the Futurist movement was also co-author of the Fascist Manifesto.
Modern day fascists are trying something similar with crypto, A.I. and space flight, but it's more of a grift than an attempt at creating a coherent ideology plus aesthetic.
