We wanted an inclusive, accessible, safe event for all, which meant everyone was masked and we had multiple air filters going. And attendance was completely free thanks to our generous donors.

ConCurrent was dreamed up, planned, and executed in eleven weeks as a one-day convention running alongside WorldCon. We emphasized panel topics relevant to current issues in SFFH and welcomed an incredibly diverse set of panelists. We were categorically against all genAI usage from the start. 2/
