It is amazing that Congress has so much vacation time, can trade stock according to bills that are going to be proposed, can stay in office for years even if they have never constructed a bill and their constituents (who work at least 50 weeks/year AND with less healthcare) don't seem to care.

Why aren't we making a bigger deal out of Section 70302 of the 'big, beautiful bill?" Isn't this a problem? If congress complains about "pork" in bills, shouldn't this be addressed? Or am I overthinking it? Why is it in a budget bill?!?!

Wanted to know the truth about this. Googled "Charles Calvin Rogers." Got a result for a 2021 defense.gov article and when I clicked on that link it redirected to a 404 page with "dei" attached to the file name. Looking at the search result description, I wonder why this was done. This is bullshit.

Isn't there is a ship currently docked at ISS that could have brought the astronauts home months ago? They trained for this. NASA is not to blame and Musk is not to be praised. There is no political reason to keep them "stranded" and if you believe that, then you are part of the problem.

I saw 3 different users this week describe Bluesky posts as "Skeets". Who came up with describing posts on this platform with Dave Chappelle's term for ejaculate? I mean, I can't believe people fell for that, so kudos! I, however, will say I "sky" my posts and hope you read my "skied" posts.

Why do I feel like the JFK, RFK & MLK files POTUS wants to be released has info that a 3-letter org was involved in all 3 assassinations? He could have done this in his 1st term. Could he be releasing them only to sow more distrust in our gov't so a certain dept. can be gutted with little pushback?
