I don't buy it. It just opens up more room for him to bring in his hand-picked media. The Youtube conspiracy channel, breitbart, etc. Pretty soon, the only ones covering him will be the people who fawn over him.

I remember Trump supporters swearing that massive global inflation in 2022 was directly due to Biden giving out $2K stimulus checks. But somehow it's ok now when Trump wants to do it.
