Right now, we have an opportunity to examine our math standards, make space for skills students actually need, and build systems that prepare them for careers that don't yet exist.

Our students deserve nothing less.

These states recognize that preparing students for the future means making hard choices about what stays, what goes, and what gets added.

Indiana: new math standards to be at least 25% leaner and directly aligned to workforce needs.

Idaho and Vermont: helping teachers prioritize the most critical content so students can go deeper on what counts.

Oregon: streamlined its standards to focus on what truly matters, creating flexibility for students while working with universities to ensure college doors stay open.
