Let’s think of Musk. I don’t particularly like him. He’s the richest man in the world yet he still works so hard to accrue more wealth and power. But he too is suffering.

Then do this for someone you feel neutrally about, like a stranger. Then the hardest but most important part is doing this for someone you dislike.

One of the best meditations you can do to bring yourself peace (scientifically proven) is loving kindness. Many ways to do it, but the one I have found best is imagining someone you care about and say slowly over and over: “May you be happy, may you be healthy, may you be at ease.”
