Another sign of climate change. An April 11 ride in Grand Teton national park and it was well into the mid-60s. All manner of bikes. All manner of people enjoying the car-less pavement. Gratitude for our public lands. My 1983 vintage bike has a good vibe.

Wandering around San Mateo and Burlingame. Amazing to be surrounded by families and folks of every color and ethnicity, a community of people who live here. A kind of solace from children in the Japanese garden. Joy in the air. Still trash on the sidewalks. I didn't succumb to Bobo tea.

So why is Google renaming bodies of water based on Trump's dictates? Gulf of America? Pretty soon we'll be pledging allegiance to the United States of Trump! 🫡 Just because he says so. Time to stop using Google as well. I guess. 🤔

Amazing to watch the bridge construction crew...even on a windy coldish day they are lifting one more span into place and closer to connecting the banks of the Snake. Plus it's Saturday. Will they be at it on Super Bowl Sunday? I'd rather watch them than any game.

We weren't expecting a February egg. Perhaps the snow avalanching off the chicken house scared it out of one of the Buff "ladies." Not complaining. Though it's 40 degrees out, and snow sliding off in explosive whumps. And well it should be more winter-like at this latitude. Alas.

So...Rich leaves for 10 days to ski and then it dumps. 😵‍💫🤗 And the temp goes from -15 to verging on rain. 😂😶‍🌫️
