Looks like a back 5 to me. Probably for the best.

I think saying Thompson was one of the few that came out with credit is a little unfair for a game that we mostly dominated and controlled for an hour. It's frustrating but it is what it is. We were getting overran in midfield with 15 to go Warne made changes and it backfired.

I agree with this, Warne was somewhat damned if he changed it and damned if not. The midfield had no legs left so he tried to change it and change the system to match there's. It didn't work, but if he hadn't made the changes and the same thing had happened everyone would say why no changes.

I think the contact is on the line so it would be a pen, but I don't think var could overturn anything they couldn't really prove in any case

Was it particularly enjoyable, not really. It was a decent point on the road, as pretty much any away point is, and I think most people would've snatched your hand off for this league position after 16 games on the opening day. We're in a position atm where the results are decent but the football not

Yeah delighted to see this development, we need to do more to honour our proud history as a club
November 23, 2024 at 8:59 AM
I was just responding to somebody elses comment in the first place tbh lol so yeah don't ask me either, yeah overall of course Lampard's signings didn't represent good value for money, but that point could be argued I think for any of the managers in the morris reign really.
November 21, 2024 at 7:49 PM
The only thing I would argue though, is that lampard was one in a long list of culprits who spent a lot of money for no return during that era.
November 21, 2024 at 7:41 PM
I don't disagree with any of that, and I don't think anyone reasonably could do. My reply was talking about waghorn only though, I never questioned the overall statement or sentiment which I share.
November 21, 2024 at 7:37 PM
Spending was not limited to this season though, due to the sale of vydra, this was one of the only seasons we didn't make a huge transfer loss. He was signed as part of promotion push granted, but I just feel he scored one of the most important goals in our history.

RIP

A true giant of politics in this country

I hadn't realised we'd gone down the verified route, good to see. More clubs need to, to avoid impersonations
November 20, 2024 at 1:10 PM
Is there a derby county feed that exists that shows you any derby related content under a hashtag like #dcfc or something. If not I think it could be useful.
November 20, 2024 at 1:08 PM
Yeah but I think ultimately I agree that he was in the end worth the money because his goals kept us up and saved the club. Of all the players that could be used to demonstrate a waste of money (and there's a lot) I don't think waghorn is one of them personally for that reason.
November 20, 2024 at 1:06 PM
Yeah I'd be interested.

Did that myself yesterday haha, we need to make this community as large as possible so when new derby fans come onto this platform they have a ready made community to step into
November 18, 2024 at 7:28 PM
Yeah he's done a pretty grand job, and left the national team in a good place. Bridged the gap between Southgate and Tuchel as well and gives Tuchel every chance to suceed.

As much as I disagree with it, it's totally unsurprising after what happened in the return fixture.

Derby was my local team, and I had a lot friends in school who supported them and my dad took me who isn't really a football fan which is how I fell in love with the club really. It's weird because the mums side of the family are non-matchgoing forest fans so that's why it never influenced me.
