It'd be hard for them to do it in a way that meant the news was up to date. Generally, YouTube/Google requires video ad copy at least 2 working days in advance. So it'd be hard for "breaking news", although probably not impossible from a technical standpoint

I learnt that you can save the game by exiting to main menu.

I still only just got past the prologue, exiting and saving every 5 steps. Gave up and now enjoying veteran 😂

Yeah I stuck it on the easiest one for a bit and was just mowing people down and finding loads of stuff everywhere so been cranking it up and Veteran seems like a good vibe
