Too soon for Solanke I think

Muani
Tel Xavi Odobert
Gal Pal
Udogie VdV Rom Poz
Vic

If we actually had wingers, I'd probs be putting Tel up top.

Kone it is then right? I mean you've just answered your own question.
January 12, 2026 at 9:02 PM
He's basically Sarr
January 12, 2026 at 7:37 PM
Sarr, who is literally a carbon copy of Gallagher, is literally back next week? Genuinely wtaf are they doing????????
January 12, 2026 at 7:32 PM
Our DOF is clueless and our squad planning is a complete joke. Just endlessly bloating the squad out with players we don't need.
January 12, 2026 at 7:31 PM
Then the DOF goes first, not the manager.
January 12, 2026 at 11:49 AM
Given we've just been linked with Conor Gallagher, again, a player we've been linked with across various windows, and one who doesn't solve the missing technicality issue. I'd continue to guess that the DOF, and not Frank, is the problem.
January 12, 2026 at 11:38 AM
Based on the eye test, who do you think is a more progressive passer than Bentancur that should be playing instead of him?

Why isn't Xavi or Kudus playing more through balls?
January 12, 2026 at 11:07 AM
3. Nope, but the DOF certainly does. Frank wasn't signed a progressive CM, nor was he signed a capable 10.
January 12, 2026 at 10:52 AM
1. Frank stated he would not have dropped Tel had he had better information on the status of Solanke.
2. You're about to find out what a midfield without our most progressive passer (Bentancur), out of a central midfield unit that features no progressive passers, looks like
January 12, 2026 at 10:51 AM
Great so the front four are the problem. Got it.
January 11, 2026 at 10:38 PM
Who did Maddison, Son, Richy and Kulu play in front of?

Why wasn’t the central midfield a problem then? How about under Conte? (It was Bentancur and PEH).

Either we’re missing Bissouma or PEH, or the front four aren’t good enough.

Clear to see which is true
January 11, 2026 at 9:18 PM
Isn’t that Xavi’s job????
January 11, 2026 at 7:17 PM
The club has been calling for a six for years.

The gammon front four (Odobert, Muani, Kudus, Xavi) is absolutely the worst in the league. Two of them don’t have PL goals, Xavi has one and Kudus has three (one a gifted penalty).
January 11, 2026 at 7:09 PM
Cool, so let's sack the manager, with no replacement in mind, right before facing two teams desperate to get out of a relegation fight, and right before a summer world cup.

You realise things could get much worse right?
January 11, 2026 at 1:03 PM
Yeah I didn't think so
January 11, 2026 at 12:57 PM
Lange before Frank, or nothing will change.
January 11, 2026 at 12:54 PM
I've posted the literal numbers lol.
January 11, 2026 at 12:50 PM
Tel is the top scorer of that lot with three goals, Muani and Odobert have 0, Xavi has one.

Son Richy Madders Kulu is literally light years apart in quality.
January 11, 2026 at 12:50 PM
Also if ball progression is the problem, why doesn't Lange come under greater scrutiny for having six central midfielders (Bentancur, Bissouma, Bergvall, Gray, Sarr, Palhinha), none of which can pass???????

Why does Frank get blamed for that????????
January 11, 2026 at 12:48 PM
DId the club sign him a new midfielder?
January 11, 2026 at 12:46 PM
We've just lost Richarlison and Johnson. Where are the goals coming from now? Our top-ranking fit goalscorers are now Palhinha (3), Van de Ven (3) and Tel (3)?
January 11, 2026 at 12:45 PM
No it's not lmfao. Tel Muani Odobert Xavi is the worst front four in the league, and the problem is the attack??????
