Probably Middle Earth, but I did fail to finish LOTR on my third reading of it, so maybe something else if you've already re-read it.

It was a superb trip. Riding down Etna was hairy at times, I think the ABS may have saved the front wheel a few times. I thought I might have saved it by releasing the brake lever, but then remembered it had ABS, so it was probably that.

The Valley of the Temples at Agrigento is bellissimo.

The Parco Delle Madonie was also lovely to ride around, which includes the Targa Florio race circuit. I also hiked up the tastiest mountain ever - Pizzo Carbonara.

You hear lots of horror stories about terrible driving in Sicily, but I found it fine. There was one scary moment when a hot hatchback came squealing out of nowhere round a tight mountain bend, but we managed to avoid each other. Mostly good tarmac, with little traffic. 4/

The coast road from Oliveri to Cefalu, with the magnificent Med to the right and majestic mountains to the left, is sublime. The Honda was happier in the mountains though, managed to coax 177 kph out of it, but it wasn't happy there. 3/

The Honda is superbly suited for carving up Sicily's many magnificent mountain roads. The SS185 from near Castiglione to the north coast is a heavenly moto road, with a good chance of sending you there because it's difficult to tear your eyes away from the stunning views. 2/
