It only took him pissing off 8 of the US's neighbors before eventually getting to an actual adversary aligned with Russia and China. I guess Canada, Mexico, Greenland, Panama, Colombia, Brazil, Haiti, and Honduras were bigger priorities all these months until recently.

This is one of the cases where I would probably support foreign intervention if not for how awful both sides in Sudan are and the complications of what comes next.
