That’s such a vivid way to start, like you’re watching the movie in your head as it unfolds on the page. I imagine that kind of flow must make drafting exciting, since you’re discovering the story alongside the characters.

Honestly, there’s no single ‘right’ way, if blasting out a first draft gets the ideas flowing, that’s a win. I’ve found that sometimes the momentum from a fast draft brings out unexpected gems. Do you ever surprise yourself with scenes or characters that weren’t in the plan?

That makes total sense, I’ve had those ‘must write it now’ moments too, even if it means jumping ahead. Do you ever find those spontaneous scenes end up changing the direction of the story, or do they usually fit right into your original plan?

Wow, the atmosphere here is incredible, I could practically feel the darkness and hear the dialogue between the Da’no’no Warriors. Can’t wait to see where this goes!
