It is worth screaming the precedented-ness of all of this until we're blue in the face, but this comparison does make me think that they are basically trying to orchestrate a post 9/11 power consolidation, with THIS as their 9/11. I can't say that I expect it to go well
i'm not telling you how to feel, but i am going to lose my mind if very precedented things--like television executives behaving like evil cowards--keep being described as unprecedented.

The primary reason I caved and created an account is that paradoxically it is easier to limit my exposure if I have an account with a feed I can glance at as opposed to falling into a hole of clicking through accounts. I doubt I will be posting much, if it all
