disliking everything made after Season 3. Feel how you want about the show, but both sides are too extreme. Extreme fandoms are nothing new for the internet, but while I can't speak for what Stephen Hillenburg wanted, he wouldn't have wanted this.

It was huge in the 2000s. There was a time where it was the highest rated show on FOX’s Animation Domination block. It was nearly as inescapable as SpongeBob.
