Be aware that most carnivores were at some point as sold on vegetarianism as you were. But they didn’t feel healthy on it. I didn’t come to change my ideas easily. I don’t tell people I’m carnivore because I KNOW what they believe. As I used to be in the same boat. 😃

IMHO carnivores need the ultimate elimination diet. They got sick on SAD. They tried vegan, raw, 12 step,keto , cut out sugar, flour, synthetic vitamins and still faced inflammation, obesity, chronic pain and metabolic disorders. IMO Kind people celebrate solutions instead of blasting them.

Most dog food proteins now are plant based. WHO it the “ it “ here? I follow a lot of carnivores and not one has suggested eating dog food. The most recommend meat is local grass fed beef. So if anything is being “ marketed” it’s grass fed beef IMO.

As a nurse I would have prepped for that with a colon cleansed empty gut, go in slightly dehydrated , catheter in place to a leg bag and sip water and high calorie stuff. Like maybe dates. With that 24 hours is doable.
