I was merely pointing out that Quakerism has diversified (and in this Quaker's opinion, improved) a great deal since the 17th century. I've only recently begun attending a local Society of Friends meeting, but the movement does great work towards social reform and is very progressive. 🤷‍♂️

if these folks read their bibles, they might be shocked to see that a great deal of inherited tradition doesn't jibe with the texts, OR with any decently floatable theology. I love me some Holy Spirit, but Jesus of Nazareth wasn't exactly the heavenly Father.
