We're still planning to put him to sleep when things get too rough, at the moment the vets gave us some fluids, a pill to make him hungry, and some painkillers for his joints and body.

He'll be comfortable

After 15 years of loving life and chasing squirrels I have to say goodbye to my best friend. His kidneys have failed him and we have decided to avoid any suffering on his part to humanely put him to sleep.

Oh how lucky I was to have had a friend like him.
