Used to be a geologist.
This is what happens when you don't root environmentalism in people's well being but in ecological purity. Kinda spiritual, in the sense that it's a cardinal sin to have any kind of impact in the biosphere. Weirdly nihilist too, that the best we can be is nothing.

He's very Christopher Nolan-coded. Vibes guys who are upheld as some sort of sociological prophets. The Dark Knight Trilogy and MGS both touch on serious topics, but refuse to engage significantly with them beyond the aesthetics they provide. Both culminating in an entry that is torn by that tension

Look at it sideways: the US is a capitalist nation where stalling social reform and poisoning public discourse is a profitable career path.

It's interesting how Elden Ring frames religion as something native to the world, with the outer gods not being cosmic entities but aspects of a unified divinity that was fractured.

Yes!. I think there's something very evangelical about the Golden Order, its treatment of other cultures and Marika's tendency to progressively remove more and more to achieve a "pure" version. Meanwhile, Radagon is more ecumenical, and so was Miquella before he started butchering himself.

Yeah. If anything, the DLC is just way darker. Maybe less colourful. Night is pitch black, and there's less contrast between areas.

Yes. Of course.
Obviously.

When the party that held power in Mexico for over 8 decades returned after 12 years, they were so desperate to go back to stealing that they dropped all pretences of professionalism, civility, and meritocracy. Their party is now irrelevant, and is synonymous with corruption and cynicism.
