We have phones and Teams in my office. I quit answering the phone and checking my voicemails. I haven't been fired, no one has said anything, and the company is still in business.

The problem is that I can never pay enough to make platforms/creators happy. I pay for access because free content with ads isn't sustainable -> they start forcing me to watch ads in my subscription. I pay to get rid of mid-roll ads -> they start putting ads in the product. it never ends.
