💯I try not to be reductionist - but he's a mean spirited jerk who doesn't play well with others. If he were a Grade 1 student there'd be weekly calls home from school. It takes so little work to be a basically decent person - but it does take empathy - humility is good too. He seems to have neither.

Old news.
Harper’s buddy Modi PM of India interfered in 🇨🇦elections. Fundraised & put boots on the ground to help elect Poilievre.

How about a story on Harper & Scott Moe’s visits to India? Did they sabotage Federal Liberals on trade?

And as Michelle Cohen points out, Matt Strauss' legal battle with Queen's U was funded by none other than Elon Musk. He did that for several fringe anti-vaccine/anti covid mitigation advocates in Ontario, as I vividly recall.

Matt Strauss is also financially indebted to Elon Musk, who announced last year that he is funding Strauss's defamation suit against Queen's University.

If you don't believe me when I say the Conservatives have MAGA beliefs when it comes to anti-science, then how did such a candidate get approved, let alone other pandemic fringe candidates like Leslyn Lewis, Roman Baber, and Dean Allison? And that's just in Ontario.

Believe me we Canadians know most American people don't support what's happening. Many of us have friends and family who live and work in the US. We travel and vacation there (or did) every year. But what's happening is beyond the pale. Incredibly discouraging...

It's about time citizens understood that if they don't participate in democracy they will lose it. Democracy is US. Nobody should have to "inspire" people to do their duty to their own country. Our grandparents didn't say "Oh I have to be inspired to vote."

Was just reading this in @sarahkendzior.bsky.social ‘s ‘They Knew’. As a progressive Missourian I can confirm that our state, though labeled ‘Red’, is “purple, like a bruise”.
