Ok but did it have to be a former Lib Dem? Have we run out of all the other ideas? This is a seriously negative point for me.

I joined it briefly last year to look for handyman recommendations etc. It was hands-down one of the most bleak social media experiences I’d encountered, although I had by that point stopped using Twitter. I only lasted a week.

Εμένα πάντως μου θύμισε το τραγούδι του Μάουι στη Μοάνα και κοιμάται κι ο μικρός να το επιβεβαιώσει

Almost like they could afford it all along! Quelle surprise!

Broadly yes, specifically no. A lot of EU leaders have yet to come out in support of Ukraine mostly out of sheer fear of the USA and the geostrategic trouble a condemnation would cause. Case in point, Greece, who is absolutely bricking it over what Erdogan might do if the USA ditches us.

Well he thinks it’s all that technology that makes ppl want to be lonely. Nah mate. They can’t afford the rent for just themselves let alone be slapped with at least £1,000 per month in childcare on top of it.

This episode made my blood boil. Kudos to Emily who managed to interrupt the man kindly mansplaining to all of us that it’s because we want to spend more time with our children we’re put off by having any. During the worst cost of living crisis. Unbelievable.

What, in the same way the USA pushed for an end to Turkey’s invasion in Cyprus? This is the issue though, the USA hasn’t always come guns ablazing in support of freddom and democracy. We just didn’t have social media back then to be outraged for the USA letting the aggressors get away with it.

Having a child at about the same age, my heart absolutely bled for that little guy.

Is this the one he told the journalist to fuck off for asking an Epstein question? 😂

I want to believe when push comes to shove Starmer will choose wisely. As much as I don’t agree with all his policies, I can’t see him ever not being decent enough to do the right thing. But I’ve been wrong before 😂

I’m all for that and more however, the realities of late-stage capitalism dictate a certain amount of modus vivendi that cannot be underestimated. Plus we are dealing with a serious case of a man-child over the pond so…

Opposition parties have more liberty to call a spade a spade. It’s not always appropriate for governments to voice their exact thoughts especially in public and when it comes to Trump. In that sense, the opposition parties that still refuse to condemn it are despicable.
