It makes me cry. As a Canadian, I feel close to what’s happening, but I can only begin to imagine the depth of grief, conflict, and heartbreak it must stir in the hearts of decent, good Americans. I hate what the U.S. has become, but I stand with those who are still fighting for its better self.
