Just now noticed this. As others have noted, this also went by the name Team 47 GoMan. The developers released the source code to the engine just a couple years later. The source was considered lost, but someone found a backup a few years ago and uploaded it to github: github.com/Fissuras/Tea...

You're reminding me of when I ordered a non-soldering rewireable plug assembly for my IIGS display to connect it to the MiSTer, but I fumbled actually getting it to work, or maybe I was afraid of damaging something, can't properly remember. Anyways, that sorta thing might be good to get.

I've been thinking how cool it would be for future innovations of photogrammetry and whatever else (the one recent term escapes me at the moment) to basically bring 3D modeling of 8800 Blue Lick Rd. to perfection. Make it like we're actually there, and less of these as-of-yet unavoidable artifacts.

There's a lot of good music out there tragically trapped on vinyl. I tolerate that nonsense for stuff that won't ever get a remaster, unless I figure that stuff out myself.

I remember wanting to try speedrunning this game, and making the discovery that there is two versions floating around out there. The early version is the one with wall clipping and the infamous credits audio. I don't think they made a patch, just a change of CD build.

Been looking into the topic of induction woks, myself. I guess those are actually popular now as a traditional gas alternative in professional settings even. Might actually get me cooking more often if I got one, maybe.
