Last year the squirrels ate all the tulip bulbs but these. Out of 150! They already eat all the bird food. Its a miracle they aren't the size of footballs! Still, I'm planting again with chicken wire over the raised beds - probably keep them out for all of 5 minutes.

This is a significant spot to me. A couple of remembered moments here that summed up a miserable few years. I sat here today thinking, 'I survived it all.'
