From what I've seen, it's an interesting one, in a good way. Does something different, but the mechanics themselves are familiar.

Hmm... Well, I'll look deeper, but two that immediately come to mind is FlyKnight and El Shaddai. Both good games in their own right, and El Shaddai definitely has some strategy/rock paper scissors to it.
