I'm so happy to have finally collected this set of covers! These are the set I read when I was younger! Reading Briar's book when we've been through a pandemic has really made me appreciate the thought & details @tamorapierce.bsky.social put into the book. #circleofmagic
A set of 4 Tamora Pierce books, specifically the Circle of Magic. They are the scholastic UK covers - blue, pink(ish), red and green from left to right, against a soft, grey background of a cat tree cushion.

Some of my favourite photos from the Katten Kabinet in Amsterdam!

The cat's face is very round, with tiny ear, and short spikes which are meant to be the whiskers but are facing forward. It's a very rotund cat with a short legs. Photo of the rotund cat but taken from above, so you can see just how rotund it is. A photo of a yellow cat statue sitting on its hind legs. It has a few random, small blue dogs with a white band around it. And a big blue upside down heart at the top of its right leg. The most striking thing though is its face. It's smiling in a way that looks like it is high as fuck, with big blue/black eyes (showing no whites), and a big blue and white smile. It's kinda terrifying and you just know if it came to life it'd be pulling some Loki-style pranks on you. Cat jesus. Maybe. Brown cat made of wood, standing like a human and wearing a long white robe with long, wide sleeves. It's carrying a human baby almost as if it's offering it out to someone, it's so weird.
