If Pete Alonso takes a deal in Toronto for same years, $5mm extra, he’s just dumb not greedy. He’s aware that Canadian taxes will eat into that extra dough, right? Boras is just giving him bad info and stupid advice at this point. He’s better off with the Mets offer IMO.

I feel like I’m taking crazy pills. But I swore there was a writer who didn’t submit a ballot in Mariano’s induction year, and technically that’s how he got in 100%. I can’t find anything on it though. I wonder if that’s the same guy who didn’t vote for Jeter or Ichiro though lol
