Central Oregon Partners for Animal Kindness (copak, copak.org) is a grassroots organization created to increase awareness of the plight of animals forced to participate in rodeo and address the false claims that rodeo is not animal abuse.

Many assume bulls aren’t hurt in rodeos because they’re so big. Flank straps, spurs, prods, and loud arenas force these pray animals to buck, often leading to injuries we can’t see – torn, ligaments, joint damage, and chronic pain. Size doesn’t equal invincibility. Suffering is not entertainment.
